Martial Arts Matters is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to assist At-Risk & Disadvantaged Youth receive Martial Arts and Fitness training thru scholarships.
THE CULTURE of Martial Arts is built upon the teachings of Respect, Discipline, Honor, Integrity, Leadership, and much more. It provides Characteristics and Life Lessons that can be used to live a positive & productive life, especially in today’s society and with our younger generations. The traditional acts of chivalry has been long forgotten. In fact, it has turned the opposite direction. People these days have grown to become rude, disrespectful, selfish & greedy, have low morals if any, and have the feeling entitlement without putting in the work.
Through traditional Martial Arts training, people are taught practical life skills. Not just self-defense, learning to fight, or compete, like most people would perceive. Qualified organizations will have instructors that have a passion and real sense of duty to instill those characteristics of Respect, Honor and Discipline.
WE ARE ON A MISSION TO RAISE $50,000 for the first set of tuition scholarships.
